Insurance Defense Attorney

Tasks

• Manage insurance defense cases from inception through resolution.
• Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motion practice.
• Participate in arbitrations, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Represent insurers, self-insured entities, and corporate clients in liability matters.
• Conduct legal research and prepare motions, briefs, and case reports.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure proactive case management.
• Collaborate with legal teams to achieve successful client outcomes.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active Pennsylvania law license - mandatory.
• 3–5 years of insurance defense litigation experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong legal research, drafting, and advocacy abilities.
• Ability to independently manage cases and work collaboratively.
• Preferred: Automobile liability litigation; insurance defense and liability matters; litigation strategy, motion practice, and trial preparation.
