Orange Architects is hiring a creative, motivated Junior Architect for a full-time, on-site position in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with architectural design development and help deliver innovative, aesthetically considered project outcomes.
- Create detailed 3D models and renderings using AutoCAD and other architectural design tools.
- Attend project meetings and collaborate with senior architects and team members to gather requirements and feedback.
- Prepare presentation materials for client meetings, communicating design concepts and project progress.
- Support compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and sustainability standards throughout the design process.
- Assist with project management, including scheduling timelines and tracking deliverables.
- Contribute ideas during team briefings and share insights to improve designs and communication.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and similar architectural design and 3D modeling software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking about design challenges.
- Familiarity with building codes and sustainable design practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with colleagues and clients.
- Internship or practical experience in architectural design or related projects is preferred.
