Kubernetes Engineer/DevOps Engineer

Tasks

• Lead and support migration of applications from VM-based environments to Kubernetes
• Design, configure, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters
• Containerize existing applications and deploy them in Kubernetes environments
• Build and maintain Kubernetes deployment pipelines
• Work with infrastructure managed through Terraform and Ansible
• Develop and enhance Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
• Implement and optimize monitoring using ELK Stack / Elastic Cloud
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues and improve system reliability
• Collaborate with Development and Operations teams on scalability and modernization
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve automation workflows
• Perform Unix/Linux system administration and troubleshooting

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with Kubernetes cluster setup, deployment, configuration, and management
• Strong experience with Terraform
• Strong experience with Ansible
• Solid understanding of Docker/containerization and deployment strategies
• Experience with ELK Stack / Elastic Cloud
• Strong Unix/Linux system administration skills
• Experience working with private cloud or public cloud environments
• Experience with OpenShift (Nice to Have)
• Experience using GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools for automation (Nice to Have)

Schedule

• 6-month contract with potential extension
• 5-days onsite

Pay

• $50/hr on C2C
