About the role

h3 Technologies, LLC is looking for an experienced and driven Lead Software Engineer/Cloud Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud-based solutions built on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The role involves adapting to various mission areas and supporting mission success.

The schedule is 9 out of every 14 days, totaling 80 hours worked, with every other Friday off. The description states that the ideal candidate will possess an active TS/SCI clearance and be available to work onsite at Patrick Space Force Base.

Responsibilities

• Use substantive experience in cloud development in AWS to build robust cloud-based applications.
• Apply AWS best practices and services to ensure applications are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
• Engage daily with customers to understand requirements and provide suitable cloud-based solutions.
• Prepare architectural designs aligned with the organization’s strategic goals and develop roadmaps for implementing and evolving cloud solutions.
• Produce detailed documentation for design, development, and deployment processes.
• Present complex technical concepts to stakeholders in an accessible manner.
• Support various mission areas with flexibility and commitment to mission success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience; or a graduate degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience; or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Security+ or equivalent DoD IAT Level II.
