Key Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and continuously monitor patient vitals during surgical procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
• Perform thorough pre-operative assessments and consultations to evaluate patient conditions.
• Work closely with surgeons and medical teams to develop customized anesthesia care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Deliver effective pain management before, during, and after surgery to optimize patient recovery.
• Identify and manage intraoperative complications promptly using sound clinical judgment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of anesthesia care and patient interactions in electronic health records.
• Engage in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives focused on enhancing patient safety and care standards.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Anesthesiology is mandatory.
• Proven expertise in anesthesia techniques and comprehensive pain management.
• Possession of current medical licenses in multiple states is preferred to facilitate locum tenens assignments.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and anesthesia management software.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in anesthesiology preferred.
