Logistics Collections Representative

About the role

Gulf Coast Crating and XLR8 Delivery are seeking an experienced Collections Representative with a strong background in logistics, trucking or transportation to join our Accounting team.

Tasks

• Monitor customer accounts and identify past-due balances
• Contact customers regarding outstanding invoices and payment status
• Maintain professional and positive customer relationships
• Document collection activity and customer communications
• Follow up consistently on payment commitments
• Research billing or payment discrepancies
• Coordinate with Accounting, Operations and Customer Service when needed
• Assist with payment posting and account reconciliation
• Prioritize and manage a high-volume accounts receivable portfolio
• Maintain accurate customer account records

Requirements

• Proven collections experience in logistics, trucking or transportation
• Accounts receivable and aging-management experience
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Working knowledge of billing, payment posting and customer accounts
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Professional and customer-focused approach
• Comfortable working in a growing, fast-paced environment

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Full-time
