Mechanical & Piping Design Engineer

Tasks

• Designing, developing, and optimizing mechanical and piping systems for process plants, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements
• On-site field support, vendor coordination, and technical troubleshooting during installation and commissioning
• Develop layouts, equipment selection, and support structures using industry-standard tools
• Review P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) and GA (General Arrangement) drawings for equipment and piping
• Ensure proper pump, compressor, heat exchanger, and tank selection based on process requirements
• Coordinate with process, electrical, instrumentation, and civil engineers to ensure seamless design integration

Requirements

• 10 -13 years of experience in the Chemical or FMCG industry
