Willamette Valley Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in McMinnville, Oregon . This part-time role offers an opportunity to support medical staff and deliver exceptional patient care in a dynamic clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with patient intake by recording medical histories and vital signs accurately. Prepare patients for physician examinations and explain procedures to ensure patient comfort. Perform basic laboratory tests and administer medications as directed by healthcare providers. Maintain and update patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy. Coordinate patient appointments and manage front office duties including phone communication and patient interactions. Support medical staff during procedures by preparing instruments and supplies. Monitor and manage electronic health records to ensure timely and compliant documentation. In this role, you will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to enhance patient care quality and operational efficiency. Success will be measured by patient satisfaction, accuracy of records, and smooth clinical workflows. Required and Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred. Strong patient care and customer service skills. Proficiency with computer systems and electronic health record software. Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical setting preferred. Compensation: $37 per hour.
