Remote Operations Specialist – LATAM

Location and Schedule

• Location: Work from anywhere in Latin America (LATAM)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday during U.S. Eastern business hours, within one hour of New York time
• Daily standup: 8:45 a.m. Eastern Time

About the Role

A fast-growing, founder-led AI company in procurement technology is seeking an Operations Specialist to manage the data and supplier coordination that supports enterprise customer deployments and sourcing events. The lean team combines hands-on execution with customer advisory work. This role owns the execution core, helping senior team members focus on strategic priorities.

The work is approximately 60% Excel-based data cleaning, structuring, and validation, and 40% phone and email follow-up with U.S.-based suppliers. The goal is to independently manage a client account's backend operations and communications within 90 days.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, structure, and validate supplier, product, and quantity data in Excel.
• Use VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, pivot tables, and conditional formulas to organize datasets.
• Check data for missing values, inconsistent formatting, and errors before modeling.
• Create replicable, formula-driven models without hard-coded values.
• Onboard validated customer data onto the deployment platform.
• Call U.S.-based suppliers who have not responded on the platform and follow up by email.
• Help keep suppliers engaged and sourcing events moving smoothly.
• Take ownership of client account execution and communication as you ramp up.

Compensation and Employment

Salary: $20,400 per year
