Preferred: NYC public school familiarity parent experience workshop experience bilingual skills where there is a significant non-English-speaking population excellent communication, organization, interpersonal and problem-solving skills conflict resolution/mediation family/parent education and community/presence Microsoft Office proficiency. WHAT YOU’LL DO Engage and support parents and families Conduct outreach, meetings, workshops, and events Facilitate parent/school/community concerns Connect with community organizations Help create a welcoming school environment FLEXIBLE HOURS MAY BE REQUIRED Early mornings, evenings and weekends; occasional different work times may be required. SALARY $44,432 New Hire Rate $51,094–$73,941 for eligible incumbents with 2 years of continuous City service.
