Responsibilities and qualifications
- Bring 5 or more years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps (Canvas and model-driven apps), Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Design and build low-code business applications using Dataverse, SharePoint Online, and SQL data sources.
- Create Power Automate flows for business process automation, approvals, reminders, scheduled tasks, and REST API integrations.
- Connect Power Platform solutions to on-premises sources such as SQL Server and file systems using the On-Premises Data Gateway.
- Develop custom connectors to securely consume REST and SOAP APIs using OAuth 2.0 or API key authentication.
- Apply Power Platform governance practices, including environment setup, data loss prevention (DLP) policies, security groups, and audit controls.
- Use application lifecycle management practices, including solution packaging, Dev/Test/Prod environments, pipelines, and environment variables.
- Extend apps with Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) and JavaScript or TypeScript when needed.
- Implement role-based security, Dataverse table permissions, and Azure AD group integration.
- Migrate legacy business processes to Power Platform apps to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Work with stakeholders to assess complex requirements and deliver scalable low-code solutions.
- Document solutions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred experience and education
- Familiarity with Copilot Studio and citizen developer enablement is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
