Project Manager - Industrial Engineering

Tasks

• Lead industrial engineering workstreams for a large-scale greenfield manufacturing facility launch.

Requirements

• 8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience (3+ years leading programs)
• 8+ Years in IE/Manufacturing Engineering (3+ Years in Project/Program Leadership)
• Proven experience planning, coordinating, and delivering end-to-end factory industrialization programs from layout design and equipment installation through commissioning, run-at-rate, and ramp-up.
• Deep expertise in capacity modeling, takt/cycle time studies, line balancing, workstation design, labor models, ergonomics, and material flow planning.
• Strong foundation in Plan for Every Part (PFEP), line-side delivery, warehouse interfaces, packaging strategies, discrete event simulation (FlexSim/Plant Simulation), and 3D layout tools (AutoCAD).
• Track record managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and RAID logs across Manufacturing, Controls, Quality, Facilities, EHS, and Supply Chain teams using tools like MS Project, Primavera, Smartsheet, or Jira.
• Strong background in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred), APQP/PFMEA, and tracking operational metrics (OEE, yield, scrap, rework, and labor utilization).
• PMP/PgMP certification is a strong plus.
