Quality Assurance Lead

Tasks

• Own QA planning, execution, and release support for assigned projects.
• Define test scope, strategy, estimates, milestones, and entry/exit criteria.
• Lead functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Review requirements and acceptance criteria to ensure complete test coverage.
• Manage defect tracking, triage, retesting, and resolution.
• Coordinate onshore/offshore QA teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Monitor test progress, risks, blockers, and delivery milestones.
• Perform hands-on testing and ensure critical workflows are validated.
• Support UAT, release readiness, and post-production validation.
• Mentor QA analysts and drive continuous improvement in QA practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software QA experience.
• 2+ years of QA Lead or test leadership experience.
• Strong experience in test planning, test execution, and defect management.
• Working knowledge of SQL, API Testing, and Data Validation.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar test management tools.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and testing methodologies.
• Experience coordinating distributed QA teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred: Retail, Distribution, Logistics, Merchandising, or Finance domain experience.
• Preferred: ERP and Legacy Systems testing.
• Preferred: Data Conversion and Integration Testing.
• Preferred: Test Automation, Performance Testing, and CI/CD knowledge.
