Radiation Oncology Physician - Locum Tenens | USA

Milanie Noriega is seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiation Oncology Physician for a locum tenens assignment at various locations across the United States. In this non-remote role, you will deliver expert radiation therapy and help develop personalized treatment plans for patients with cancer.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized radiation treatment plans.
• Administer radiation therapy and monitor treatment effectiveness and side effects.
• Collaborate with medical oncologists, surgeons, nursing staff, and other care team members.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment progress.
• Educate and support patients throughout treatment.
• Participate in tumor boards and case discussions.
• Stay current with advances in radiation oncology and apply best practices.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Radiation Oncology.
• At least 3 years of experience in radiation therapy and patient care.
• Proficiency with relevant patient management and treatment-planning software.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience with modern radiation technologies and treatment modalities is preferred.
