Job description

About the role

Southern California Caregiving Services has an ASAP opening for a female caregiver comfortable providing full personal care and assisting with Hoyer lift transfers. The client is female and receives care at home. Care needs include advanced dementia, chronic constipation, severe mobility impairment, and CPAP use.

Initial coverage requires 8-hour shifts for the first 3 days: 2 weekdays and 1 weekend, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full ADL and personal care assistance.
  • Assist with Hoyer lift transfers and repositioning.
  • Support meals, hydration, and mobility.
  • Assist with ROM, stretching, and daily activities.
  • Provide continuous supervision and maintain safety.
  • Monitor and report changes.
  • Provide real-time care updates with timestamps.

Requirements

  • HCA Registry.
  • Background clearance.
  • TB test.
  • CPR and First Aid training.
  • COVID-19 record.
  • Valid SSN card.
