RF Design Engineer/RF Network Engineer

Tasks

• Design and optimize LTE wireless networks using Atoll RF Modeling.
• Perform RF engineering evaluations for system planning, site acquisition, and network expansion.
• Analyze network performance, capacity, coverage, and optimization opportunities.
• Create search areas and support candidate site evaluations through drive testing and field assessments.
• Build and model sites using Atoll, FUZE, and SiteTraker.
• Prepare and review FCC, FAA, FAS, and E911 filings.
• Review antenna and radio configurations to ensure design accuracy prior to construction.
• Support network optimization and capacity enhancement projects.
• Work closely with System Performance, Real Estate, Equipment Engineering, and Network Assurance teams.
• Track projects from design through implementation while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and support deployment of new technologies and features.

Requirements

• 5-7 Years
• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in RF Design Engineering within the telecommunications industry.
• Strong hands-on experience with Atoll RF Modeling Software.
• Deep understanding of 4G LTE technologies, including: VoLTE, Carrier Aggregation (CA/CAGG), 4TX/4RX, LTE messaging and performance features
• Strong knowledge of LTE network capacity planning and optimization.
• Experience with antenna design, propagation modeling, and implementation.
