Key Responsibilities: 🔹 New Business Development Actively prospect through referrals, professional networks, events, and industry partnerships Maintain a pipeline of at least 3x annual sales target Use CRM systems to manage leads and client activity Identify cross-selling opportunities across other Gibson service lines 🔹 Client Strategy & Relationship Management Lead benefit and risk strategy development for new and existing accounts Recommend tailored program structures and coverage strategies Manage renewals, carrier proposals, and service timelines with internal teams Ensure compliance with client expectations, regulations, and industry standards 🔹 Consulting & Risk Management Analyze risk, claims, and benefit design trends Educate clients on evolving insurance and benefits solutions Build high-retention relationships through proactive advisory Qualifications: ✅ Required: Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance sales or a professional services consulting role Proven success in managing and growing a book of business Strong communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills Life & Health License (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire) Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and CRM tools ✅ Preferred: Bachelor’s degree CEBS designation Experience in employee benefits for mid-to-large groups Background in independently owned insurance agencies Ideal Candidate Profile: Self-motivated and goal-driven Confident presenter and skilled relationship builder Comfortable working independently and within a collaborative advisory team Enthusiastic about professional development and continuous learning
