Senior Associate / Vice President – Real Estate AcquisitionsLocation: Austin, TX
A leading real estate investment firm is seeking a Senior Associate / Vice President to join its acquisitions team. This individual will play a key role in evaluating and executing new investment opportunities across the firm’s real estate portfolio.
Responsibilities
Lead underwriting and financial analysis of prospective real estate acquisitionsBuild and review detailed acquisition models, including cash flow projections, returns, and sensitivity analysesEvaluate investment opportunities, markets, properties, and business plansConduct due diligence and coordinate with brokers, lenders, operating partners, and other third partiesPrepare investment committee materials and present investment recommendations to senior leadershipSupport the negotiation and execution of purchase agreements and other transaction documentsIdentify and evaluate new acquisition opportunities and maintain relationships with brokers and other industry contactsConduct market research and competitive analysis to identify attractive investment themesManage multiple transactions through the acquisition process from initial evaluation through closingWork closely with senior members of the investment team on sourcing and executing new investments
Requirements
5–8+ years of experience in real estate acquisitions, investment banking, private equity, or a related investment roleStrong experience with real estate underwriting and financial modelingProven experience evaluating and executing real estate transactionsStrong understanding of property-level cash flows, valuation, and investment returnsExcellent analytical, communication, and presentation skillsAbility to manage multiple live opportunities in a fast-paced investment environmentBachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus
