Senior Structural Engineer

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in structural building engineering design
• Master’s degree in Structural/Civil Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
• Strong knowledge of US Building Codes and Professional Standards
• Strong expertise in seismic design
• Experience designing steel, concrete, and mass timber structures
• Experience with structural analysis/design software such as RAM, SAP, ETABS, and SAFE
• Strong BIM experience, particularly Revit
• Ability to lead project development, deliverables, and quality reviews
• Experience mentoring and guiding junior engineers
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• USC & GC Only
• Local or nearby candidates only
• No sponsorship available
• Preferred: Structural Engineer (S.E.) license
• Preferred: Performance-based seismic design
• Preferred: Experience with seismic devices such as base isolation and dampers
• Preferred: Rhino / Grasshopper and computational design experience
• Preferred: Sustainability-focused structural design experience
