Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Tasks

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based test automation frameworks.
• Build and maintain automated test cases using Python, pytest, Playwright, and Appium.
• Develop and execute mobile application and cross-browser automation tests.
• Perform end-to-end integration testing across mobile devices, APIs, simulated vehicle environments, and system behavior.
• Design and implement backend service mocking frameworks to reduce dependencies on live backend services during mobile application testing.
• Automate API workflows, including POST operations, and validate API responses and system behavior.
• Develop reusable test functions, utilities, and automation components to improve test coverage and scalability.
• Analyze system and simulation logs, investigate failures, and support defect triage across development, staging, and production environments.
• Identify, reproduce, troubleshoot, and verify defects in collaboration with developers and QA teams.
• Utilize AI coding assistants and AI agents, such as Cursor, to understand existing codebases, accelerate scripting, and improve test automation productivity.
• Collaborate with developers, QA leads, and product managers to validate features and ensure release readiness.

Requirements

• 4+ Years
• Python (critical requirement), Java, Kotlin, or Swift.
• pytest, Playwright, Appium, Python-based automation frameworks.
• Android/iOS application testing, mobile automation, device-based testing.
• Cross-browser testing and UI automation.
• REST

Schedule

• Onsite 3–5 days per week
