Job description
About the role
Novax Recruitment Group is supporting a well-funded energy technology business as it builds a project engineering capability for large-scale solar, energy-storage and power-infrastructure projects across the United States. As a Senior or Staff Solar PV Project Engineer, you will own the photovoltaic scope from early development through design, procurement, construction and commissioning.
Responsibilities
- Develop conceptual and preliminary designs for utility-scale solar PV systems.
- Produce array layouts, single-line diagrams, string sizing and inverter configurations.
- Establish technical scopes and Basis of Design documentation.
- Evaluate topography, soils, shading and solar-resource information.
- Develop buildable-area and system-performance assumptions.
- Address interconnection, permitting and code-compliance requirements.
- Work with EPC partners, consultants, module and racking suppliers, procurement teams and field personnel to resolve technical issues and ensure the installation reflects the design intent.
