About the role
Globalpointinc is looking for a Tableau Engineer to support enterprise reporting and analytics solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build complex Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Write and optimize complex SQL and Custom SQL.
- Troubleshoot dashboard and workbook performance.
- Work with Redshift, SQL Server, Athena, data lakes, and other databases.
- Perform cross-database joins and multi-source integration.
- Develop Python-based reporting automation.
- Integrate Tableau with APIs and external tools.
- Support Tableau Server to Tableau Online migration.
- Leverage ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, and agentic workflows.
- Collaborate with data engineering and business teams in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- Expert Tableau Desktop / Tableau Creator and SQL skills.
- Experience with Tableau dashboard and report development, data modeling and multi-source integration, and Tableau performance optimization.
- Knowledge of Redshift, AWS Athena, Glue and S3, Tableau Server / Tableau Online, and Tableau APIs.
- Python / R is nice to have.
- AI-assisted development / agentic engineering.
