Key Responsibilities Assess and evaluate patients’ wound conditions to develop personalized and effective care plans. Perform advanced wound care procedures including debridement and dressing changes with precision and adherence to safety protocols. Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately in electronic health records (EHR) to ensure compliance and continuity of care. Educate patients and their families on wound care techniques and infection prevention to promote healing and reduce complications. Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes and coordinate comprehensive care. Stay updated on the latest evidence-based wound care practices and technologies through ongoing professional development. Participate in training sessions and quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical skills and service delivery. What We're Looking For Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California. Minimum 1-3 years of nursing experience, preferably with wound care expertise. Proficiency in wound assessment and management techniques. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and accurate documentation practices. Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) for enhanced clinical knowledge. Certification in Wound Care such as WOCN (Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing) or CWCN (Certified Wound Care Nurse). Strong communication skills and ability to educate patients effectively.
