About the role
Caribbean Contracting Services, Inc. is an engineering-led construction company serving Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the mainland United States. The Construction Project Manager oversees construction projects from planning through completion.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate project schedules and manage budgets and resources.
- Supervise subcontractors and ensure work complies with design specifications, HSE standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct site inspections, monitor progress against milestones, and address issues affecting safety, quality, timelines, or costs.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and internal teams to communicate project status and manage changes.
- Maintain documentation from pre-construction through close-out.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to manage construction project planning, scheduling, and coordination across multiple stakeholders.
- Experience overseeing on-site operations, including subcontractor supervision, quality control, and adherence to safety and environmental standards.
- Strong skills in budget management, cost control, and contract administration for construction projects.
- Proficiency in construction documentation, reporting, and project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of OSHA, Davis–Bacon, and relevant local and federal construction requirements.
