Role Description The Construction Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Puerto Rico, responsible for overseeing construction projects from planning through completion. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating project schedules, managing budgets and resources, supervising subcontractors, and ensuring work complies with design specifications, HSE standards, and regulatory requirements. The role involves conducting site inspections, monitoring progress against milestones, and addressing issues that may impact safety, quality, timelines, or costs. The Construction Project Manager will collaborate closely with clients, engineers, and internal teams to communicate project status, manage changes, and maintain documentation from pre-construction through close-out.
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to manage construction project planning, scheduling, and coordination across multiple stakeholders.Experience overseeing on-site operations, including subcontractor supervision, quality control, and adherence to safety and environmental standards.Strong skills in budget management, cost control, and contract administration for construction projects.Proficiency in construction documentation, reporting, and use of project management software and tools.Knowledge of OSHA, Davis–Bacon, and relevant local and federal construction regulations.Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish proficiency is highly beneficial.Proven ability to work on-site, adapt to changing field conditions, and resolve technical and logistical challenges.Prior experience managing projects in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure construction is preferred.
