About the role
Dallas Regional Medical Center is a 202-bed Joint Commission-accredited acute care hospital serving the health care needs of Northeast Texas. The hospital offers comprehensive health services for acute and emergent situations, including emergency, critical care, medical, surgical and cardiac services.
This is a full-time, hospital-employed Electrophysiology Physician position in an established, busy cardiology program. The team includes 3 IC, 1 EP and 1 Physician Assistant. The hospital has 2 Cath Labs, a Chest Pain accreditation and Stroke certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinic and procedural care.
- Average clinic volume is 20 patients per day, with an average of 20 consults per day. The Physician Assistant helps with rounding.
- Call is 1:5 for a week at a time, with 100% rounds and call; this will be 1:3 going forward.
- Use EPIC in the hospital and clinic.
- Design your schedule and the number of half-day clinics.
