Junior Automation Specialist

Job Description The Junior Automation Specialist, Controls collaborates closely with our operations and engineering teams to support and enhance manufacturing operations . As a key member of the department, you will leverage your expertise to drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure optimal performance of control systems. Position is based in Juncos, PR. Main Duties and Responsibilities include: Develop and implement technical solutions to support manufacturing startup and qualification.Troubleshoot equipment issues using problem-solving tools.Provide support to Controls Technicians and other technical personnel.Verify and troubleshoot equipment wiring, pneumatics, and automation components.Troubleshoot PLC and Human Machine Interface (HMI) software.Support validation activities, including protocols, execution, deviations, and reports.Monitor and evaluate equipment performance.Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Exposure to virtualized systems.Exposure to automation component troubleshooting and selection.Basic knowledge and understanding of communications networking.Excellent organization skills, ability to multi-task, and to communicate professionally with individuals at all levels.Ability to establish tools and ways of working to ensure accurate and timely follow-up and on-time deliverables.Possess strong analytical skills and manage multiple priorities while meeting stringent deadlinesStrong technical writing and presentation skillsBilingual (English/Spanish) Experience: If experience in the regulated medical device or pharmaceutical industry highly desirable.Experience in manufacturing equipment implementation projects is highly desirable.
