About the role
Messiah Lifeways is looking for a dedicated Charge Nurse to support its Enhanced Living (Personal Care) team, serving adults 55+ with compassion and excellence. The shift is 2:45pm to 11:15pm. This is a part-time position, every other weekend and holiday.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the Neighborhood Care Team.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately.
- Assess and monitor resident health and communicate changes promptly.
- Delegate daily assignments and ensure quality, person-centered care.
- Mentor CNAs, PCAs, and team members.
- Collaborate on individualized care plans.
- Ensure regulatory and HIPAA compliance.
- Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved LPN program; RN candidates are welcome.
- Active, unencumbered PA LPN license.
- Prior experience in Gerontology or Long Term Care preferred.
