This role leads continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, reduce costs, improve quality, and strengthen employee engagement through Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and other best-in-class methodologies.What You’ll LeadLead the site-wide Manufacturing Excellence (MANEX) strategy and deploymentDrive continuous improvement through Kaizen events, root cause analysis, and DMAIC projectsDevelop and track KPIs related to productivity, quality, waste reduction, and OEEPartner cross-functionally (Operations, Quality, Maintenance, P&C) to identify and implement improvementsTrain and coach teams on Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and operational excellence principlesLead Manufacturing Management Systems (MMS) implementation and digital transformation initiativesDrive cost optimization, waste reduction, and improved manufacturing flexibilitySupport daily operational reviews and identify performance improvement opportunitiesLead change management and communication plans to sustain engagement in MANEX initiativesFoster a strong culture of continuous improvement and accountability across the siteWhat You BringBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field5+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally within an FDA-regulated environment (tobacco, food, or FMCG)Proven experience leading Lean / Continuous Improvement initiativesStrong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and/or WCMCertification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt); TPM or PMP a plusExperience working with manufacturing systems and data tools (MES, ERP, Power BI, etc.)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to lead cross-functional teams and influence at all levels of the organizationBilingual in Spanish (fluent) and English (working proficiency)What We OfferDollar-for-dollar 401(k) match up to 3%Company-paid holidays and 15 days of vacationComprehensive health, life, and vision insuranceEmployee recognition programs and educational assistanceStock savings plan and weekly payrollOccupational clinic and wellness initiatives, including health fairsAdditional InformationThis role is based in Cayey, Puerto Rico and is part of the site leadership team, requiring strong collaboration, influence, and strategic thinking.
