About the role
UPTURNco. is seeking a Senior Programmer to support the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-level applications. The role involves maintaining and enhancing internally developed platforms and Oracle-based systems for a company in the food production, packaging, and distribution industry.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Oracle, SQL, Python, and JavaScript.
- Analyze complex technical processes and develop structured, scalable solutions.
- Develop and optimize Oracle databases and advanced SQL queries.
- Support integration, enhancement, and potential migration initiatives involving cloud environments.
- Maintain and enhance proprietary internal platforms.
- Apply best practices in coding standards, documentation, testing, and version control.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers when required.
- Collaborate across functions to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Programmer or Software Developer.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle, advanced SQL, Python, JavaScript, Oracle Integrations (OIC), Microsoft Tools, and AI Tools.
- Exposure to or experience working in cloud environments.
- Experience developing complex enterprise-level solutions.
- Experience in the distribution, food, or manufacturing industries is required.
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills, with a solution-oriented mindset.
