TLS - Client Accounting Specialist

About the role

The Client Accounting Specialist serves as the primary financial liaison for Tax Law Solutions prospective clients. The role includes reviewing and preparing client-facing financial reports and providing end-to-end procurement accounting services for assigned U.S.-based clients. The specialist advises clients on engagement budgets and monitors financial health while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of accounting operations.

Responsibilities

• Address client inquiries about billing and financial documentation with clarity and professionalism.
• Understand assigned clients’ businesses in the U.S. and P.R. and maintain regular contact to stay informed about changes in their operations and needs.
• Explain project spend, burn rates, and budget forecasts to diverse client audiences.
• Lead quarterly financial review meetings with clients and procurement teams.
• Oversee the full procurement cycle, including three-way matching and vendor payment processing.
• Maintain communication with each client’s designated point of contact to obtain required documentation in a timely manner.
• Maintain complete, organized financial records for each client and support month-end closing activities.
• Assist with preparing and distributing financial reporting packages for discussion with clients.
• Contribute to finance department operations through reconciliations, the full accounting cycle, and ongoing monitoring of client division financial performance.
• Onboard and train new clients in accordance with TLS Accounting.
