Job description
DevCare is hiring a Call Center Customer Support Representative for a hybrid Provider Services Call Center Agent position in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This full-time role supports healthcare providers with Louisiana Medicaid billing requirements, policy questions, and other program-related inquiries. Interviews will be conducted by webcam.
Responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of inbound calls and address questions from the provider community.
- Research and resolve provider inquiries, including complex billing and policy issues.
- Meet quality and production standards, including resolving 92% of Medicaid provider calls within 3–5 minutes.
- Communicate with providers promptly and professionally, using strong telephone etiquette.
- Accurately document calls in the call tracking system and log and track inquiries.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of billing requirements and policy changes.
- Work with colleagues to support departmental objectives and goals.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
- Patient, positive, and professional approach to provider support.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and multitask.
- Comfort navigating multiple computer programs; knowledge of Microsoft tools is required.
