Oncology Infusion Nurse – Hinsdale, Illinois

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients receiving cancer infusion therapies. This full-time, in-person registered nurse position works with oncologists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to support safe, coordinated hematology and oncology treatment. The role serves locations in Hinsdale, IL 60521, and New Lenox, IL 60451.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients using appropriate nursing skills under physician supervision.
• Implement patient care plans based on current and potential needs, following established standards, guidelines, protocols, and procedures.
• Administer chemotherapy and other intravenous medications in accordance with applicable protocols and procedures.
• Assist with medical procedures as needed.
• Coordinate with oncologists, pharmacists, and other members of the care team to support patients throughout treatment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program; a BSN is preferred.
• Entry-level role for nurses with 0–3 years of experience; oncology experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of cancer treatment medications is preferred; chemotherapy infusion experience is a plus.
• Current Illinois RN license from the Illinois State Board of Nursing.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within three months of hire.

Schedule and Location

• Full-time, in-person schedule, Monday through Friday.
• Shift options: 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Hinsdale, IL 60521, and New Lenox, IL 60451.
