Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced ACH SME with strong Banking, Payments, and Quality Engineering experience to support end-to-end ACH payment testing and validation across integrated banking systems.
Key Responsibilities & Required Skills:
8+ years of experience in Banking, Payments, or Quality Engineering.
5+ years of direct ACH domain and testing experience.
Strong knowledge of ACH transaction lifecycle, participant roles, NACHA file formats, and SEC codes.
Expertise in ACH settlement, returns, Notifications of Change (NOC), reversals, and reconciliation.
Experience designing and executing end-to-end ACH testing across multiple integrated systems.
Hands-on experience with Mainframe and batch-based payment processing.
Strong SQL skills and backend data validation experience.
Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM, or similar test management tools.
Good to Have:
Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification.
ACH modernization, payment hub implementation, or core banking transformation experience.
Knowledge of CICS, JCL, REXX, DB2, SFTP, and enterprise schedulers.
API testing, CI/CD, test automation, and service virtualization.
Knowledge of payment fraud controls, sanctions screening, and operational risk.
Ideal Candidate:
An experienced ACH professional who can analyze ACH transactions and files, understand processing rules, design positive and negative test scenarios, and troubleshoot discrepancies from transaction initiation through settlement and reconciliation.
