AI Engineer – MCP & API Development

Tasks

• Design and develop MCP servers and tools for enterprise AI agents.
• Build reusable Python services and governed API layers.
• Integrate MCP tools with enterprise APIs, databases, and external services.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and secure service-to-service communication.
• Define JSON schemas, tool contracts, and standardized error-handling mechanisms.
• Develop unit, API, and integration tests.
• Ensure secure and reliable agent-to-tool communication.

Requirements

• Experienced AI Engineer – MCP & API Development
• Any visa Except Opt/Cpt
• Strong Python programming and backend development experience.
• Hands-on experience with REST API development and integrations.
• Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and AI agent architectures.
• Experience with FastMCP or similar Python-based MCP server implementations.
• Strong understanding of JSON schemas, API validation, error handling, and versioning.
• Knowledge of OAuth, JWT, IAM, RBAC, and ABAC.
• Working experience with GCP, Git/GitHub, Docker, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Good to Have: Google ADK and agent-to-tool invocation.
• MuleSoft MCP Gateway.
• API Gateways, quotas, throttling, and policy engines.
• AlloyDB and BigQuery.
• Observability, distributed tracing, and AI security controls.
• Enterprise AI integrations and secure API architectures.
