Frynd Jay España is hiring a part-time Automotive Mechanic in Bislig, Caraga, Philippines. Join an established automotive repair shop with a friendly, collaborative team and help keep customers’ vehicles safe and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and inspect vehicles, identify problems, and recommend repairs.
- Repair engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other automotive components.
- Keep the workshop clean and organized, and maintain tools and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members on repair strategies and share technical knowledge.
- Explain repairs to customers and offer practical vehicle maintenance advice.
- Stay current with automotive repair techniques and technologies.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle repairs and services.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical skills and automotive repair experience, especially with engines, electrical systems, and critical vehicle components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and repair guides.
- Automotive certifications, such as ASE, are preferred but not required.
- Experience in a similar role is a plus; entry-level applicants with the right skills and attitude are welcome.
