Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
- Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly.
- Complete repairs in accordance with applicable safety regulations and standards.
- Document maintenance work, repairs, and parts used.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors on specialized projects.
- Help develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to extend the life of building systems.
- Contribute ideas in team meetings and collaborative projects to improve maintenance operations and safety compliance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education is a plus.
- At least two years of experience in building maintenance, facilities upkeep, or a similar role.
- Hands-on knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
- Relevant HVAC or electrical certifications are preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
