About the role

Sri Lanka Unites is seeking a qualified consultant to strengthen and enhance its Peace and Reconciliation Guidebook and design and deliver a Training of Trainers programme for staff and volunteer facilitators.

The consultancy is part of the “Building Bridges: Future Leaders Conference & School Retentions Tour”, supported by the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI). The duration is 4 months, and the reach is 40+ staff and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Review and update the guidebook.
• Design and deliver a Training of Trainers programme.
• Prepare a consultancy report.
• Cover non-violence, gender-responsive leadership, youth leadership and character, social media and free expression, grassroots movements, countering hate speech, reconciliation, and conflict transformation.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in curriculum or guidebook development, designing reconciliation, or youth leadership education.
• Prior experience designing and facilitating Training of Trainers programmes.
• Strong understanding of the Sri Lankan social and political context.
• Excellent facilitation, writing, and cross-cultural communication skills.
