Job description
CompuSoft Integrated Solutions is hiring a contract Development Project Manager in Farmington Hills, Michigan. This remote-eligible role supports renewable energy projects and engineering and environmental initiatives that contribute to sustainable energy solutions.
About the role
As Development Project Manager, you will guide renewable energy projects from concept through completion. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and support regulatory compliance while keeping stakeholders informed of project progress.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee project lifecycles, maintaining schedules, budgets, and project objectives.
- Coordinate with engineering, finance, regulatory, and other cross-functional teams.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform project planning.
- Manage MISO applications and regulatory requirements, identifying and mitigating risks.
- Develop project budgets, track expenditures, and align resources with project goals.
- Communicate project status and address concerns with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Lead project meetings and prepare reports on milestones and objectives for management.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field.
- Three to five years of project management experience, preferably in renewable energy or a related industry.
- Strong project budgeting and engineering design skills.
- Expertise with MISO applications and renewable energy regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools.
