Electrical Inspector

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect electrical installations on new construction, alterations, and improvement and rehabilitation projects for compliance with contract documents, plans, specifications, and State and local codes and regulations.
- Inspect light, power, bell, fire alarm, clock, and energy conservation installations.
- Inspect outlet boxes, conduits, wires, switchboards, transformers, and cabinets for compliance with specifications and approved material lists.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Graduation from high school or evidence of equivalent educational proficiency, preferably supplemented with completion of college-level coursework in electrical construction or engineering.
- Experience: Four years of experience as a journey-level electrician, including three years in the installation or repair of institutional, commercial, or industrial electrical systems.

SALARY:
- Salary: $66.70 / Hourly
