About the role
Karin Reid Offield is seeking a Farm Property Assistant. No horse experience is necessary; training will be provided. Work ethic, reliability and a love of the outdoors matter most.
Responsibilities
- Help with repetitive physical tasks such as mucking stalls, hauling hay and water, shoveling and raking.
- Learn animal care and basic equipment, including wheelbarrows, tractors and ATVs.
- Pitch in, communicate and support the team.
Requirements
- Comfortable lifting 50 lbs and working outdoors in all kinds of weather.
- Comfortable around animals and eager to learn animal care.
- Quick to learn and pick up new routines.
- Reliable transportation to and from the farm and availability for a consistent 4-day-per-week schedule, 8 am - 5 pm.
- Punctual, dependable, detail-oriented and safety-minded around large animals and equipment.
- Positive, easygoing attitude, clear communication, and trustworthy and respectful of private property.
- Comfortable with early-morning start times. A valid driver's license is a plus.
- Willing to commit.
