Field Engineer

I’m working with a leading employee-owned construction contractor looking to add a Field Engineer to its project team.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their construction career who wants to get properly involved in the delivery of major projects — working closely with Project Engineers, Superintendents, subcontractors and design teams rather than being stuck behind a desk.
What you’ll be involved in:Supporting RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentationReviewing drawings, specifications and shop drawingsAssisting with project planning, cost control and budget forecastingSupporting Superintendents with day-to-day field executionTracking progress, quantities and production where requiredHelping resolve technical and construction issues on siteSupporting BIM coordination and as-built documentationWorking closely with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and project leadership
What they’re looking for:Construction, Civil Engineering or related degree OR equivalent field experienceStrong communication skills and confidence working with multiple project stakeholdersGood understanding of drawings and construction documentationComfortable using Microsoft OfficeSomeone who wants to develop into a strong Project Engineer / Project Management professional
