🚨 WE ARE HIRING | JUNIOR WAF ENGINEER – INFORMATION SECURITY 🚨
Red Hot Technologies is looking for Junior WAF Engineers for an exciting onsite contract opportunity!
📍 Location: Atlanta, GA
🏢 Work Mode: 100% Onsite
⏳ Duration: 6 Months
💼 Experience: Junior-Level Profiles
🔐 Core Skill: Imperva WAF
🛂 Work Authorization: No GC / GC EAD
🔑 REQUIRED SKILLS
Basic to hands-on knowledge of Imperva WAF.
Understanding of Web Application Firewall (WAF) administration and security policies.
Knowledge of web application security and OWASP Top 10.
Understanding of SQL Injection, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) and DDoS attacks.
Familiarity with HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS and DNS.
Basic knowledge of Terraform and automation.
Familiarity with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of Python or Bash scripting is an advantage.
Exposure to Splunk or other SIEM tools is preferred.
💻 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in configuring and managing Imperva WAF security policies.
Support WAF rule configuration, tuning and troubleshooting.
Help investigate blocked requests and false-positive alerts.
Monitor web traffic, security logs and potential threats.
Assist with application onboarding and SSL/TLS configurations.
Support security incident resolution and operational activities.
Collaborate with application, network and security teams.
Maintain technical documentation and troubleshooting procedures.
⭐ GOOD TO HAVE
Exposure to Terraform and Imperva APIs.
Knowledge of cloud security and automation.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
