Job description
Join a fast-paced laboratory environment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as a contract Lab Support Consultant. Support compliance and operational excellence by helping laboratory teams meet industry standards and maintain high-quality operations in a scientific and technology-driven setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and guidance for laboratory operations, supporting compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GxP).
- Draft and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and related documentation.
- Troubleshoot laboratory equipment and systems to help minimize downtime.
- Train laboratory staff on compliance practices and the use of laboratory tools.
- Work with quality assurance and regulatory teams to support adherence to required standards.
- Monitor laboratory processes and recommend improvements to efficiency and compliance.
- Compile and analyze laboratory performance data and prepare stakeholder reports.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with GMP and GxP practices.
- Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and related software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- At least three years of laboratory or clinical setting experience preferred.
- Laboratory quality assurance certifications are a plus.
