Lead PHP-Laravel Developer

We are seeking a talented Lead PHP-Laravel Developer to join our dynamic team in New Haven, Connecticut. As a Lead Developer, you will not only lead coding efforts but also mentor junior developers, ensuring high-quality deliverables that enhance our software solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP and Laravel. Create and optimize database queries and structures to improve performance and scalability. Lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members for quality assurance. Integrate and manage Elastic Search to enhance application functionality and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that meet user needs. Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices in software development. Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements as necessary. Required and preferred qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in PHP and Laravel development. Proficiency in Elastic Search and its application in web development. Experience with version control systems, such as Git. Strong understanding of web application security practices. Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is preferred. Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
