Job description
Tasks
- Conduct onsite surveys and assess existing low-voltage infrastructure.
- Evaluate Cat6/Cat6A, fiber cabling, cable pathways, and MDF/IDF rooms.
- Identify network rack, wireless access point, CCTV, and access control device locations.
- Document cable routes, measurements, and installation requirements.
- Prepare site survey reports, photo documentation, and preliminary Bill of Materials (BOM).
Requirements
- Strong experience in structured cabling and low-voltage infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Cat6/Cat6A, fiber optics, MDF/IDF, racks, and cable pathways.
- Experience with warehouse, industrial, or distribution center site surveys.
- Ability to prepare technical documentation and cabling layouts.
