Mechanical Engineer

Tasks

• Design, analyze, develop, test, and qualify mechanical and thermal management systems, including Environmental Control Systems (ECS).
• Perform thermal and fluid calculations, analysis, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• 5–10 Years
• B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and mechanical design.
• Hands-on experience with heat exchangers, cold plates, air/liquid cooling, and thermal management systems.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks or CATIA.
• Knowledge of engineering drawings, drafting standards, and GD&T.
• Hands-on experience with hardware assembly, test setup, instrumentation, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with military and environmental testing standards such as MIL-STD-810 and DO-160.
• Strong communication skills and experience preparing technical reports and presenting engineering designs.
• A hands-on mechanical or aerospace engineer with 5–10 years of experience in thermal systems design, development, testing, and qualification within the aerospace or defense industry.
