Job description
Tasks
- Monitor patients on suicide watch, therapeutic restraints, or at risk of self-harm/danger to others.
- Conduct live visual or video observations and report findings immediately to the licensed nurse.
- Document patient activity and status changes accurately and legibly in patient charts.
- Follow all clinical directives and instructions from medical personnel in charge of the unit.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience monitoring multiple screens, observing patients, and reporting findings
- 6+ months of experience in clerical or support services within a medical setting
- Strong attention to detail and reliable communication skills
