Performance Engineer

Tasks

• Design and execute performance testing strategies, including load, stress, spike, and soak testing.
• Develop and maintain performance testing scripts and frameworks using k6.
• Analyze application performance, logs, metrics, and traces using Datadog or similar monitoring tools.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and conduct root cause analysis.
• Work with microservices, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and distributed systems.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and SRE teams to improve application scalability and reliability.
• Support performance optimization across AWS and Kubernetes environments.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Performance Engineering.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with k6 and Databox (or similar tools).
• Strong coding skills in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with microservices, REST APIs, GraphQL, AWS, and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of load, stress, spike, and soak testing.
• Excellent troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
