Dantha Katha CineVenture is hiring a Senior Animator specializing in character design and rigging for a full-time role based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This remote-eligible opportunity is suited to an experienced animation professional who can create compelling characters, build production-ready rigs, and help bring stories to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and produce high-quality character animations that support the story and engage audiences.
• Create and optimize character rigs for efficient, seamless animation workflows.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and refine character designs and animation sequences.
• Plan work effectively and meet project deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Provide creative guidance to junior animators and share animation best practices.
• Contribute to project reviews and offer constructive feedback to improve production processes.
• Keep current with animation trends, tools, and techniques.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in animation or a related field.
• At least five years of animation experience, with a focus on character design and rigging.
• Proficiency in Blender and a strong understanding of character design and rigging.
• Strong collaboration, communication, time-management, and creative-direction skills.
• Ability to manage overlapping projects and deadlines.

Work Environment

Dantha Katha CineVenture’s animation team works collaboratively across departments to coordinate creative, design, and production workflows. The position is remote eligible and is associated with Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
