Senior Data Modeler

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Modeling, Data Architecture, or Database Design
• Expert-level experience with Erwin Data Modeler (v9.x+), including Subject Areas & Model Templates, DDL Generation, Forward & Reverse Engineering, Complete Compare Functionality, and Model Versioning
• Strong expertise in Oracle (11g/12c/19c/21c): SQL & PL/SQL, Schema Design, Performance Tuning Fundamentals
• Experience designing Normalized (3NF) Transactional Data Models and Dimensional Models (Star/Snowflake Schema)
• Deep understanding of ER Modeling, Normalization & Denormalization, Cardinality & Referential Integrity, Primary/Foreign Keys, Data Modeling Best Practices, and Data Lineage & Metadata Documentation
• Hands-on experience with DDL (Tables, Indexes, Constraints, Sequences, Synonyms, Materialized Views), Database Internals (Partitioning, Clustering, Execution Plans), and Git & Model Version Control
• Strong communication, multitasking, and collaboration skills
• Nice to Have: Data Vault Modeling, Microsoft SQL Server & PostgreSQL, Hadoop & MongoDB, ETL/ELT Tools & Data Integration, MDM & Data Governance Initiatives, Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, Snowflake, or Databricks, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, Collibra, or Alation, and experience in regulated industries such as Financial Services, Insurance, Utilities, or Healthcare
